Shopify uses a hosted app with an authorisation/install link, rather than a downloadable plugin ZIP.
We need a Shopify developer app, hosted HTTPS callback and approved permissions before enabling installation. Distribution for multiple independent shops requires the appropriate Shopify distribution/review process.
